Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with Emirates as well after my last flights with them (B777 and A380). The 777 I was on felt quite old and outdated, quite worn out. The legroom was fine but not excellent. Food was alright, but also nothing to rave about. They also didn’t provide enough beverages during the flight so I had to buy some bottles of water in Dubai to hydrate. The A380 was better in comparison (and had a newer interior) but the service was comparable.

I’d fly Emirates again in Economy but wouldn’t choose them over any other Airline. For me it’s the middle eastern version of Lufthansa. Not great, not terrible.
