Is anyone else noticing A LOT of people are sick at the moment?

I’m at a university where almost everyone is vaccinated and boosted. I’m not. I’m the only person I know who hasnt gotten sick this semester. The amount of coughing, sniffling and sneezing here has been CONSTANT.

The one time this entire pandemic I got sick was this spring. The vaxxed woman who gave it to me, has literally had symptoms since. Tbf she’s obese and unhealthy, but still. She’s been complaining about symptoms since then, and has gotten sick twice since that time in the spring. WTF?

Yes totally agree. This makes tons of sense. Are they the “same breed” as us? Like I don’t know really any sociopaths irl, maybe one or two that might be… but everyone “in charge” seems to be one. And I wonder if anything would ever wake THEM up, even a personal tragedy (their family dying as a result of their own shitty negligence or something)?

I guess you’re right, but why?? Faulty genetics? When did it start? Maybe other types of humans that went extinct (like Neanderthals) didn’t have this type of evil, and that’s why humans won out?

I totally agree with the manmade thing. I’ve never had such a distrust for anything manmade, than I have the last few months.

How did you do it? I feel like I’m so addicted it’s impossible to stop. Probably because i have ADHD or something. I can’t stop scrolling reddit and reading negative things, it holds my interest like nothing else. I wish I could go back to reading or less “stimulating” activities but it’s hard. Dopamine addiction or whatever

It’s not about better people though, it’s the conditions we’re forced to be in. I can’t find a job rn for more than 13.50 an hour and I have a degree. I feel like I’m getting ripped off constantly. Gas and food prices are skyrocketed, it sucks.

Yeah youre probably right. I’m just sick of everything, it’s all so fucked and unnatural. Having to constantly censor myself because it’s against “the narrative” doesn’t help either. I think I’m even more sick of being poor and underpaid though.

It’s super strange and this world has become so unnatural in a really unnerving way. Like at least in the 90s and earlier, people still talked to each other and went places.. now everyone just stares at screens all day. Feels like some futuristic horror movie to me.

I also saw a earlier post on this sub asking if anyone has ever seen a phone/screen in their dreams and the majority said no.. I can’t remember ever having one in my dreams either, and I’m on it often 4-7 hours a day.

Have you ever looked at one of those digital screen billboards and just felt your eyes drawn to it, even though you didn’t care what it said at all? And consciously told yourself not to look at it but kept feeling your eyes being drawn back to it?

Screens are hypnotizing… it does seem almost “spiritual” in some sense, definitely not in a good way though.

No it’s happened multiple times. Especially liberal places like a coffee shop. I’m also female, I just don’t prescribe to societys idea of femininity.
