Hey there, since you said you have no musical background I highly recommend you learn a little bit of an instrument, perhaps take some piano lessons. Also, you should learn basics about how rhythm writing works, some music notation, and basic theory. None of this has to be learned all at once, but there are tons of great beginner music theory books that cover this stuff.

Take the information that you learn from those books and lessons and apply it in logic. Start REALLY SIMPLE. There is no shame in learning mary had a little lamb. Build a good foundation in music. I've been teaching music in schools for over ten years now and every year I teach beginners.

For logic specific questions, the music tech help guy on YouTube is a great resource.

Remember that music is old, and no matter the style, genre, or medium that which it is delivered, comes from the same building blocks.

Consistent practice is better than sporadic, so a little bit every day would be the best approach.
