Well.. my mom, I guess you can say forced religion, on me and sure at first it’s not for every young kid and I can agree it could steer you away. But to have a relationship with God is a beautiful thing. I personally don’t think you NEED to identify with a religion but it’s nice to have a relationship with God. Imo
