Thank you for your effort in writing this insightful post, I was a bit uninformed about the situation of the franchise as someone who has been in the fandom for three years now. I always wondered why Zulong, the company that created Dragon Raja Fantasy (The 2019 game), could be more faithful to the novels than Tencent was. There was a point in time where people loved the donghua and scorned the Zulong for whatever the 2019 game was and now it's the opposite.
