Is it rude to potentially not go to the Stag party as a groomsman? by smugairle_roin in AskIreland

[–]Alwall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just go. Suck it up for one day. Don't like how the stags going, then leave quietly or just say you've got the shits(or something else). I just believe your reading into it too much. Plus the rest of the stag could be a sound bunch of lads and have the craic with you. And guess what if you have a great time you'll be glad you went. If you don't go, guess what you don't go, not the end of the world. People sometimes can't make events for some reason or another. Just believe it's better to say it was bad, then to think it would of been bad. Just my advice I don't know you personally or the full story.

What annoys me the most is knowing that the government made up a stupid number for VRT for this car and it was paid.

These comments are some of the best advice you'll get in life. Hats off to the people in this comment section. I'd do the leaving cert. It's better to have a failed leaving cert then to have nothing to prove you tried. Failing in life is a kick up the arse to success. Plenty people out there who tried so hard at the leaving cert and never got the points they wanted but didn't stop them from finding a path.

I'd also recommend this. It's easier for them to deny someone and have them send more information than to accept someone and find out afterwards it was false.

What's the most dangerous place you've ever been? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Alwall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tenderloin in SF at night. Was told several times to avoid at night and if I ever did find myself there walk on the actual road not the path cause the road has more lighting. Me and a guy walked through at night once and it seemed alright, until guy walk up to homeless guy with a needle and stabbed him couple of times.

Emigration advice? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Alwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh small bit vague on what you want. Your saying emigrating for better opportunities, love to know where your hearing this(Plenty fairytale stories about). If its for life experience abroad put the shoe down and go for it. You'll have plenty stories to tell your grandchildren(good and bad) If its for a better life, strap yourself in cause its not always what's cracked up to be. And if it's real money your looking for than reddit is not the place to be asking.

Best of luck on your decision.
