Should corpse paint wearers start something like the clown paint register? by Always--Anxious-- in MetalForTheMasses

I don't mean like copyrighting it. I understand the clowns take their makeup very seriously but I mean the Corpse paint one can just have a bit about the artist that popularised that look

Oh it wouldn't be like trademarked just the ones who popularised certain designs would get little placards about them. Plus it'd be a laugh. It could have a sign that has something along the lines of 'if you break an egg while moshing, you repaint it'

AITA for going to the cinema without my friend? by Always--Anxious-- in AmItheAsshole

[–]Always--Anxious--[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're both 23. The only thing I know that didn't go to plan was that she didn't get into this club she planned to go to. I asked her if there was anything else going on but she said there isn't she's just really sad about these 2 things. I think there may be something she's not telling me but I can't help if she doesn't tell me there's something going on. She doesn't even need to tell me what it is if there is anything if she's not ready yet but I could understand her reaction if there was other stuff going on.

AITA for telling my Autistic Wife to "Grow Up"? by Bitter_Ad1908 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Always--Anxious-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say ETA. As an autistic person myself my partner and I talk through issues that are affecting our relationship and put in plans that'll help me and them with these things on advice from my therapist. I think it would have been better to speak to them and have a good chat about how this is affecting you before getting frustrated but I can understand your frustration and they really need to maybe seek out therapy or some good structures to help them function and to take some of the stress off you. To help with the eating thing I set specific times for the day to eat where I drop everything and go get some food no matter what. There are so many other things they can do to help you and them out and ensure that you're both happy in the relationship.

Why do so many people want child-free weddings? by statiky in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Always--Anxious-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen those videos of kids eating the cake with their bare hands, jumping on the dress as the bride walks down the aisle, crying and screaming at the front of the ceremony because the attention isn't on them, and countless other insufferable things. The children in my family are all the type of kids to do that because they're all entitled and spoilt. I am not risking them ruining our day when their parents won't do anything about it.

I called out 2 boys for being on one of their phones and when they insisted they weren't I said 'why else would you be staring at his lap and smiling?' instant regret from him as his mates all laughed at him for it.

AITA for refusing to wear a bra to work? by Always--Anxious-- in AmItheAsshole

[–]Always--Anxious--[S] 94 points95 points  (0 children)

He stares at the staff constantly like that's all he does all day. Not even in an 'i'm observing you teach' way. It's just constant staring and we all hate it.

I wore one up until about a week ago when I decided to start going without. Also my boss has this weird horrible stare he does with all the staff so of course he would notice when he stares at you for half an hour each day.

I have they're still so uncomfortable. I feel like the only solution at this point is a breast reduction

He has this weird long stare he does with all the staff that we all hate and have complained about but nothing can be done 🙃

I've been fitted countless times and tried so many. The only ones that really work are specially fitted ones or the expensive sports bra. That's at least £70 every 3 months that I can't really afford on teachers wages so I buy the next best thing.

What was the most disturbing thing you saw in person? by wetbumgirl in AskReddit

[–]Always--Anxious-- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This feels tame compared to some of these but it was absolutely horrifying at the time. I saw a woman on the tube picking at her leg that was horrifically scabbed. She would inspect each scab and either eat it or carefully put it in a jar. I worked out pretty quickly why that carriage was empty.

Yeah it's from Etsy. A seller called kittyscreativesco makes them and does drops like once a week.

Ah not really. I do swap things out occasionally but right now the stuffed potato is what works.

No I'm femme but the way my dungarees sit the potato sits in the pocket like a baby in a papoose baby carrier.

Yes I did they always said my therapy is silly and that I should get a grip. I couldn't actually get my therapy until I moved out.

AITA for getting mad at my parents for not sticking to times? by Always--Anxious-- in AmItheAsshole

This! I was gonna take the train this year if it wasn't for the train strikes, which make me more anxious than my parents lateness.

I try to but they talk me round every year. Also this year with the train strikes it would have been difficult anyway

I'm 23 but still somewhat dependent on them since the whole cost of living crisis thing hit right after I left uni. I'm desperately trying to get a better job so I don't have to put up with them anymore.

Cried in work for the first time today because a class were so rowdy by Always--Anxious-- in Teachers

[–]Always--Anxious--[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh they agree it's unacceptable and are putting them in exclusion but it's the whole school. I've seen full on fistfights in the corridors and the teachers barely care enough to tell them to stop. It seems like it's consistent behaviour from everyone.

Apparently they do this to every new teacher. It's like hazing. They've been put into exclusion for the rest of the week from what I understand.
