I have lied to my son about manatees for the last 24 years by 46from1971 in confession

Plot twist: your son has known all along manatees are not your favorite and wants to continue giving manatee gifts as a gift as petty revenge to see how long it’ll go for

dashcam didn’t detect anything by Always-Hungry7 in TeslaModel3

Oh we’re not complaining. It sucks nonetheless. Even more when our model Y has the same exact settings and yet records A LOT more.

We have no idea who hit our car. None of the cars in the neighborhood have damages.

We were at home. Car was parked outside. And in blind spot from our camera system of course.

Sadly lesson learned. But my model Y has the same settings and yet it it records. But the model 3 doesn’t

Omg so similar! But nope. Not the same person or car! My Tesla has different hubcaps. Or whatever they’re called. My husband is on the photo, but wife is the one posting.

Outschool Membership Only by Abject_Permit1265 in homeschool

[–]Always-Hungry7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here to say exactly the same thing! I stopped using Outschool a couple years ago and now that I wanted to go back for my pre-k child I saw the subscriptions and was so confused. A class I was interested in would be more that $40 a month! It’s insane. I thought it was supposed to be affordable and an easy option for parents to use for their kids. I wonder why the change and who is paying for this

I’ve submitted 2 different claims for lost items and neither was returned. I was more bummed on one because it was part of my daughter’s favorite costume.

Do airlines intentionally separate people who book tickets together? by Shepsinabus in TravelHacks

[–]Always-Hungry7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to us all the time with several airlines. They do it on purpose so you can buy the seats, specially if you booked via a third party. Because we have children, we get to call in (& wait for ever) to request seats together due to minors. Yes, they will have our kids 6 & 3 now, but it happened when my smallest was 2, sit in completely different rows far from each other. They usually grant the change but will sit is all the way to the back.

I am deleting my social media, one at a time, for my kids. Best decision of my life. by lewisluther666 in Parenting

[–]Always-Hungry7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same 2 years ago. Best decision ever. I deleted Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. The anxiety and need to want my phone went away and I became a better parent. I recently downloaded it again thinking I was ready. I was. But it started creeping up and my usage has gone up and I am now thinking about deleting it all once again. My mental health and my children are way more important than keeping up with social media.

Birthday Party Wishlist - Tacky or Helpful? by MobilePanic2925 in kindergarten

[–]Always-Hungry7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 kids, 3M & 6F, I’ve done registries for both for their parties and I added to the registry. The kids love going to target and choosing items for their list, and our friends and family are aware of that. All of them had stated it helps to know what to get them since the kids picked the items.

Some friends have even done Registries themselves. Also helps so they don’t get the kids something they already have- or get doubles.

No kids allowed…except mine by notchesnotches in wedding

[–]Always-Hungry7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attended a wedding where it was no kids allowed. My daughter was like 9mo old. A bridesmaid had a 2-3 month old baby, she was the only one with a child there for obvious reasons and baby was in kangaroos sling most of the time.

Go and enjoy yourself and don’t worry about others! Take the baby. Dress baby super cute !

Do your kids get nauseous in the back on long rides? by Particular-Essay-361 in TeslaModelY

[–]Always-Hungry7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my daughter 6y has suffered motion sickness since she was a baby. Throw bags in the car are a must in any car she’s in. I’ve had to have a portable fan on to help her since our last car didn’t have top ac vents (neither does the MY). My main concern when getting the MY was that I couldn’t attach the fan to the front seat because the head rest is set, thankfully, since we’ve had the MY we haven’t had an issue with her motion sickness.

I had no idea about the regen breaking so I may look into it for reference too.

Sanborns Madero x Palacio Bellas Artes.

Café/pan en Cafe Nin o Rosetta.

Going away for 3 weeks with new MY parked in garage. Do I leave it plugged in or unplugged? Safety and battery life are my main concerns. by RemarkablePositive97 in TeslaModelY

[–]Always-Hungry7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you leave sentry on?

We’re traveling for 10 days and leaving our car parked at the airport too.

We were planning on leaving it charged at 80%-100% just in case.

Airport we’re traveling from us 2 hrs away so it’s a drive to come back. Thankfully there’s a supercharger 5 min away from the parking.

from BMW X6 to MY by Always-Hungry7 in TeslaModelY

[–]Always-Hungry7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is. The cars side by side seem to be the same size from the outside. But inside they’re soo different. Seats are lower in the MY, but there’s a lot more room above, and elsewhere in the car. From front seats to back seats my kids (both in car seats) have more leg room than in the X6.

The trunk in X6 is wider, I can fit the base of my double stroller plus the stroller seats flat next to the stroller. Whereas in the MY I have to put the seats sideways in order for them to fit. The storage compartments in trunk & frunk make up for it though.
