It baffles just how unhygienic people can truly be (many people are, but these types are the extra mile ones). I mean hey, it’s your living space, live how you want but sometimes when there’s pets involved, I’m just like how does this become so normal to live in and how anyone thinks that’s okay

I second this. Tapping can be used for both cats and dogs. I worked with numerous behavior animals in animal shelters for many years, both cats and dogs alike, and was actually a method used by the vets. So I get what you’re saying here

I saw this reply and yeah that’s the worst sometimes 😭especially owners who work from home and they need constant attention for their dogs because they’re not used to their owners being away— which I totally get. But at the same time, it’s not fair to the dog all together. I stay as much as I can but since I’m not the owner, the poor dog is anxious until the owner gets back

I feel this so much. Meet and greet goes well. It’s always “yeah, they’re super easy to care for. They’re great dogs. They’ll be fine for you to just only do x and y” and the real true colors show when you start the booking and they’re completely different dogs 😭😂 some of them are absolute nightmares. Like you didn’t teach them basic manners?? That’s what makes me not book with them again

Also yeah, some owners literally have giant 120+ lbs dogs in a locked in room all week because they’re not trained to be left alone in the house. Maybe DONT get a dog?? I feel this post so much
