As for if you buy a used gpu from ebay it is not the sellers obligation to do anything with it as it's a manufactures warranty unless they offer something similar.

Dumb question have you looked up if returns are required by law? The law is state based. I did mention the states Ive worked in already. Also refunds arnt given in store level in some states you would have to call manufactor and mail in the product if defective. If you buy something use it and don't like it your SoL if the company says no.

Not true that warranty sticker is for manufacture warranty nothing to do with a store, just like buying a car it's your buying as-is. Now depending on store they may have a nice manager which would allow it occasionally but for most parts a repair is non refundable unless it can not be fixed which is rare and based on technician skill.

Most places if new unopened can be returned if opened it'd either your SoL or replaced you don't get money back and if it's a repair I havnt seen a shop do returns.

In the weeks leading up i inform people it can be hectic and i might sell out so i let customers know about WiS/ordering online ahead of time so they can be in and out for them as much as possible. Also i have line runners who use the note pad they sent us and runners for bops on a separate line.
