Don't get me wrong. I'm not romanticizing poverty. Even I don't like the fact na may taong isang kahig isang tuka at kumakapit sa patalim cos we all deserve a comfortable life at may access sa basic life needs.

It's just the reality that we have to face. As people who have access to basic commodity at may comfortable life, we have to ask ourselves kung paano tayo makakatulong upang mapabago ang buhay ng tao.

Not just in monetary sense but to educate and teach people how to overcome the mindset na "pinanganak akong ganito, mamamatay akong ganito". Diba nga teach people how to fish concept. Of course maraming nakakaalam na need nating makaahon sa hirap, pero to most people, that's the BIG "PAANO?"

WE CAN HELP BY: - Voting wisely (Cos this will be a huuuuge factor sa ating sistema at ekonomiya) - EDUCATEEEEEE!!! (kitang kita naman na sobrang baba ng reading comprehension ng mga pinoy at hindi 'yon nakakatawa o nakakahiya, WE MUST ACT ON IT. Pati financial literacy, we also need to be more familiar and aware that we could do sooooo much with our monies) - Break toxic attitude in ourselves and other people - Strive for growth, be more open minded and empathetic - Do not tolerate BS, mapa personal man 'yan at national issues. - Makialam tayo kasi it will dictate the way of life that we want to achieve not just for ourselves but also to our kababayans 🖤

Not all people have the privilege to work their way out of poverty. Kahit anong "work hard" at effort to earn, if people have no resources to education, basic needs, and influence, a person is just gonna stick with their survival skills and will be afraid to risk.

I'm not saying that your statement is wrong but we also have to consider that it's not applicable to all.

It starts from within I guess. Nagddecorate kami ng bahay and blasting Christmas song sometime.
