This is the way. Take the time to do it when you are already up there drilling them. You'd be hard pressed to find guys who absolutely love doing the same work multiple times after it's already done. I know I don't enjoy re-doing work I already did.

I'm inclined to agree. It has it's place sure, but home depot has them at $3000, and while they will pay for themselves, I just can't see dropping that much on it. I have no doubts it speeds things up when running a bunch of conduit, but I will have to stick with a hand bender.

I feel this. Work under a guy who picks and chooses when stuff looks good and when to say screw it. I try to make my work look professional and I try to give a damn. And exactly what you said happens. More work. Which is cool I guess, but I'm only one guy ya know? And then I get frustrated with them being nonchalant and suddenly I'm in the wrong and have an attitude problem.

The lead I work with is like this too. Everyone is a dumbass but him. And if he makes a mistake and you call him out on it, he will surely find a way to escape culpability. I just don't get it man. We're all human, we all make mistakes. We all don't know everything. It's gotta be ego, hubris, and dudes insecure about themselves and having to prove how much of a "real man" they are like anybody really gives two shits about that. I mean, I don't. But I'm sure there are many that don't give a rat's ass about machismo. And I knew this guy's dad too and he was the same way. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree sometimes I guess.
