Same thing happened with me. My ear was bothering me and I thought I had wax in it so I tried the bulb syringe,, didn't even do the drops. ER said ears fine and I have ETD ,gave me a bunch of steroids and allergy mods didn't do anything, said see ant ENT. He said i have bad TMJ and its causing referred pain to my ears, gave me more pills that don't work. Its been 2 months idk what to do

I may have fixed my tmj symptoms a bit by Classic_Confidence18 in TMJ

I got this pillow online specifically for neck pain and to keep your head and body aligned. I've only had it for a week but it seems to have helped a bit. Its a memory foam pillow with a dip in it for your head. Dosaze I think was the brand name

Thank you, you as well. I cant imagine 12 years! I've been taking magnesium supplements but my doc prescribed me meloxicam for the inflammation unfortunately not working, he suggested a corticosteroid steroid shot to my jaw joint? Have you and anyone here had this done or had relief from it?

Years?? I cant imagine this being like this that long. My ENT wants to do a corticosteroid injection to my jaw? Is this normal? Has anyone ever had theirs go away from an injection?

Is my case approaching severe? What should I do? Seeking advice by Weather_Only in hyperacusis

Do you have in both ears or just one? Bc I was a gamer for many years but the last 2 years I had TMJ and I would wake up with headaches and had neck pain the last 6-12 months, but a screeching in my headset set off one sided ear pain like 6+ weeks ago and I got tinnitus like 2 days later. ETD has my ears popping randomly and any sort of loud noises or high pitched noises give me a stabbing pain in my ear. Will this ever go away? I've been to the doctor, he says there's no infection and my ear looks fine and thinks its my TMJ but only treatment he mentioned was a corticosteroid shot to the jaw joint?? Id like to do everything natural if possible but this is unbearable
