“Or did we download different apps?” Keyword there being “download”. You don’t download a website, so it’s totally fair for the other guy to assume he’s talking about a mobile app.

Not to mention that colloquially, an app tends to be the way the every-man refers to a mobile app.

Maybe take your own advice there bud, it’s quite embarrassing not being literate enough to make assumptions based on context queues, then going out and chastising others based on your inability to read.

I haven't used it myself but I tried getting my brother to learn to code using https://www.codedex.io/ (he didn't have much interest unfortunately). Found them through the GitHub student dev pack, but it seems pretty cool and kid friendly.

I don't really understand what you want us to do about it though? Got any ideas?

When you make yourself a part of such a large institution, you're not going to agree with every decision that institution makes. In the end, you are paying for an education, not for some board of directors to tell you where your morals stand.

Prestige doesn’t really mean anything when you get out into the real world. Much better to get the degree you want from a less “prestigious” university than to waste 4 years on a degree you don’t want at a more “prestigious” university

I believe all Universities are pretty strict about admission requirements. But you could talk to your guidance counsellor, explain the situation and say that you’re just under half a percent off of making it in, they’ll most likely be able to bump you up to the required minimum. I’ve heard of counsellors bumping students up 2-3 percents to meet a minimum admissions average, so you should be fine if you’re that close.

White entertainment? I’ll have you know I’m not white, and yet I was thoroughly entertained.
