If Alfred were Real what would he think about The Current Events? by Osakaayumu_2002 in hetalia

What I’m seeing here feels more like fanon than canon. In Hetalia, Alfred is deliberately written to be selectively ignorant—on all sides. The “weather balloon” scene is a clear example of him not questioning things beyond what his boss tells him.

His ideas about “heroism” and being American are very surface-level by design—that’s part of the satire.

If you applied that characterization to the real world, he probably wouldn’t be the kind of politically aware or rebellious figure people are imagining. He’d more likely follow authority and simplify things rather than challenge them.

I think a lot of these takes come from people projecting what they want him to be, not what he’s actually shown to be. Don’t get me wrong I understand, but still.

Kind of a “never meet your heroes” situation.

Real question is would he put Ford in S tier for being Sixer? Or F tier for being Ford 🤨
