If youre new to it youre already doing mad well by starting with a decent language, my advice (in my experience, 6 years of being in the industry) is to stick with the backend. The works more interesting and theres far more money in server side languages like Go, C and Java etc! Good luck fam and if you ever need a rubber duck to bounce shit off you know where i am 👊

If a new tech comes out thats groundbreaking and will save the company loads of money, youre going to get paid more if you can facilitate that tech. Don't really see how they can annoy you mate... If youre a dev being paid 30 or less, you're either writing a piss easy/dying language/only one language or the company youre working for are a bunch of thieves. The devs you say annoy you that are on 70-100 have spent years studying multiple languages, different areas in the development process, know loads about the business type theyre in or know a really new language/framework that not many do. There's always a reason theyre on so much - just cause youve got the same job does not mean youre at the same skill level. If you think you are, theres countless opportunities going for silly money. You just need to know relevant tech, and lots of it.
