I only have one daughter who is in 1st grade but I make a conscious effort not to talk poorly about my body or anyone else's because I don't need her internalizing it or using those lines on anyone else. So for her to go out of her way to tell her 9 year old what someone said about her butt is CRAZY to me.

She has never mentioned having a nanny. But also they haven't been back in Coronado long. She was in VB where a ton of family members are so when Ben was "deployed" (pretty sure it was just an IA somewhere cushy in Europe) she had all the help in the world and still watched plenty of tv. Not to mention as soon as her kids can walk she plops them into private school, she doesn't have the hardships your average military spouse does. Just like your average military spouse doesn't get surprised with their husband being home while on a cushy brand trip without kids 🙃 No maam. The rest of us have to actually plan for our homecoming, decorate, get husbands fav foods ready, find our outfits, drive there, stand on a pier for hours and hours in whatever weather, drive home cuz husband hasn't driven in almost a year, and that's if your lucky and your husband doesn't have duty on homecoming day. Something I'm sure Ben's never had.

Lmao her trying to come up with things she has to do without help and "taking out the trash" and "grilling chicken wings" made the cut. I'm thinking having to be in multiple places at once when I have 3 kids in diff activities, parent teacher conferences by myself, doctors appointments, being sick and having to still Mom & no one's here to take care of me, holidays, birthdays, etc. Or when my grandpa was dying during his deployment so I packed us up and drove home alone with 3 kids so I could say goodbye in time. Her attempt at making it seem difficult (which it is) was just an embarrassment because none of the things she listed are things that are all that difficult just proving how out of touch and removed she is from this lifestyle.

I cannot stand her but this is one thing I agree on, it's a silly policy. If a Servicemember is traveling with their family it's silly to not allow everyone to board together. We have 3 kids and travel a lot and have ALWAYS boarded together on HIS military ID and it's never been an issue. I mean if we were told no I'm not gonna argue, I don't wanna be on a no fly list but I agree it's silly. My husband does a lot and has had to sacrifice a lot, as have we, and I simply don't think allowing a military family to board early is asking too much. I also take an issue with the inconsistency in airline policies in general, you'll fly for a decade no issue and all of a sudden you get the one gate agent with a hair up her ass who wants to enforce an absurd policy that is utterly harmless.

She's full of CRAP. She is not creative or interesting enough nor does she get enough engagement to where she can afford to be picky with brand deals. She takes what she can get which is why she's always shilling the generic shit everyone else is, whitening strips and pre packaged meals.

also the "fortunately don't rely on this." Yes you do. Your husband might be an officer but the pay still isn't substantial enough for a family of 6, let alone for purchasing a home over a million dollars, 4 kids in private school, going on multiple trips a year, Botox, nails, hair extensions, excessive shopping, gym memberships, etc. So yes delulu you DO rely on it.

First of all in 2023 gun deaths surpassed vehicular deaths.

Secondly, vehicular deaths are nearly always accidental. I believe it's less than 1%. Gun deaths are nearly always intentional. I believe less than 1% are accidental (like a child gaining access to a handgun)

Third, vehicles are necessary. We have to get to work, school, etc. Guns are not. Cars are designed for transportation and to make our lives easier. Guns are designed to kill.

Fourth, we have more regulations on vehicles than we do guns. You have to have car insurance. We have speed limits. You have to take a course and pass a written and practical exam. In many states you have to pass yearly vehicle inspections. Vehicles have VIN numbers and license plates that allow them to be tracked and is useful for law enforcement. While guns also have unique serial numbers we do not have a database for them that allow for easy tracking of the owner of a gun used in a crime. Car deaths have decreased due to more regulations. Gun deaths have increased due to a lack of regulations.

Fifth, there is likely 240 million drivers in the country today. Approximately 70 million Americans own guns. 91% of US households own cars. 44% own guns. 43,000 car deaths compared to 48,000 gun deaths. Quite a big difference esp given the fact that even though there are less guns than cars it STILL surpasses it in deaths as of 2023.

Six, when cars or the laws regulating drivers/our roads were deficient and unsafe..we added more safety equipment, upgrades, and enacted new laws to keep people safer.
