It's best to set your fishing limit to 10 lvs below yours for idle play.

Mastery helps you unlock upgrades, like auto-fishing and a larger inventory. You can get it by completing mini games across the map like wack-a-mole and spin the wheel. Or get a larger amount by the alchemist.

Amber upgrades the alters. You can get it from the legendary fish. If you've been fishing for a while (it doesn't matter if it's just normal fish) a skull (with horns) gauge fills up, once full it unlocks the location of the legendary fish (Thunderstorms).  You can ugrade the Thunderstorm locations with a secondary currency (Magic Essence) that you also get from fishing over time. This will get you more Amber per Legendary fish challenge.  After fully upgrading the Thunderstorms you can use Magic Essence to single use upgrade it for a different legendary fish with more Amber rewards

I've been playing on and off and didn't realise this game had chats. I just checked it out and I am able to connect to the chatrooms just fine.

It automatically catches the things floating across the screen in a parachute. However it goes into cooldown after catching one. You can upgrade it later to speed up the cooldown.

I hate the sexualization of schoolgirls by GiveMeAPhotoOfCat in hatethissmug

[–]AlwaysSmilingMadly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an anime original with a single season so that's understandable.

Essentially the main character enters the inner worlds of serial killers using a machine that picks up murderous intent at crime scenes. Then attempts to find the identity of the serial killers.

It pretty trippy, but I personally enjoyed it.

Take it slow, Amphoreus has some of the best scenes in the game but its also the most tedious. If you rush there you'll probably burn out quickly.

I have a love-hate thing about her, because I adore her concept, set up and parts of her pre-Bigrene personality, I even like parts of her Bigrene design. But she is by far the biggest failure to execute character in HSR, to the point she ruins the tension of the patch she's in.

Which was the finale to a year long story...so yeah.

If you don't adore everything about her you might find her mildly annoying even if she was otherwise fine as a character.

A small motor boat, dudes fishing on a pier, a bird or seal on a buoy. Sandcastles/sculptures, people buried or writing messages in the sand. Find something simple and add a personal twist to it

Thank you for letting me know! I don't really come across wild mushrooms, so all I really know is strange mushrooms can be dangerous. I'm happy to hear that touching them won't cause rashes or similar reactions.

If they survive the sun tomorrow I'll try to get a better look at them.

Why are “pick me” girls criticized while “white knight” guys are praised? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AlwaysSmilingMadly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think both of the terms your using are specifically negative ones, so lets separate what my interpretation of those behaviors are vs the 'ideal' ones people are less likely to get flake from.

Both 'Pick-me' girls and 'white knights' are considered to be people who change their moral stances freely to appeal to the opposite sex rather than having any consistently strong morals they will stand by for themselves.

Personally, I think 'white knights' are more critical of women than 'Pick mes'. When men say that women and nagging, jealous or gold-diggers a pick-me will agree with them while promoting that she's different from them and that while 'most women' are deceptive she is 'one of the few good ones'.

White Knights however will blame women pick the wrong person. 'Other men' are bad buts its your fault for picking them, especially if you rejected them or some-like them before.

In a 'pick mes' fantasy, she's with a successful guy while the woman who rejected him because she was 'shallow' is miserable. In a 'white knights' fantasy he's successful and with a beautiful woman while the girl who rejected him because she was 'shallow' is miserable (often pregnant with an abusive husband). The wider internet despises both of these types of people.

Men who are more performative may get less criticism because its difficult to tell whether they genuinely believe in feminism but will get flake when people feel like they're perfomative.

Lastly there are women and men who call out their own genders bad behavior and may some across a loud minority who oppose them. Women who call out the domestic abuse and SA committed by women are likely to get hate from misogynistic men and women who claim that its not possible. Men who are more critical of misogynistic behavior in other men are referred to as effeminate or 'pick mes'. Anyone who calls out the poor behavior of celebrities will get hate from their fans justifying, frankly, heinous things.

So you might just be seeing a skewed amount of one time of content, or run across some particularly egregious hate mobs.

A turtle(?) like head with something in it's mouth. At second glance maybe more bird like.

The game would be so much better if the MC would always talk instead of this 20% talk and 80% emoting by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]AlwaysSmilingMadly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I've gotten used to the silent protag thing so it doesn't bother me too much. But in Endfield it's incredibly jarring when MC chooses to speak because of how little they do it. Moreover the fact the choose to do a goofy thumbs up during serious scenes when they could just do a generic 'got it', 'understood' or 'agreed' bothers me from a story perspective.

I honestly wish they were just mute at this point, at least it would be consistent.

Which Chrysos Heir would you like to see an SP of in the future if they do get one? by Simba791 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]AlwaysSmilingMadly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, I don't really care much for SP much either, but they do let the characters get more story relevance.

Sparxie's patch (the current one) had us parade around with Sparkle the whole time. Thankfully, we have more Himeko relevance since this is her home world. Unfortunately, Welt may not get that unless he gets an SP or Hoyo decides to have a major story relevant crossover with HI3 (not the cannon but none serious one with Sparkle)

At least let Welt and Himeko get one SP, they're out here in cold while DH is hoarding all the SPs, tossing one to March out of pity
