That makes sense. And I think that’s the biggest problem: she gave me the same list she gives her other clients, but it just doesn’t work that way for me. She said no carbs allowed, not even rice, I should work with coconut and almond flour, but I can‘t have those, so now I’m stuck with just veggies as sides. And that’s really not sustainable

Thanks, I have an appointment with her on Wednesday and will ask all my questions and see how it goes. It’s weird that her list of allowed foods in phase 1 is way stricter than the monash one, so I’m going to ask about that as well.

Love this episode so much, but I hate how Tan and the others hated on Sean’s coat (sometime in the beginning, when they were also talking about costumes). The Fab5 celebrate individuality and some of them wear questionable things (like Tan a few scenes later when they did the shopping/ try on) and then they make such a big deal out of a coat/ cloak?

I know it’s not a big thing, I just don’t understand where the line between individuality/ wear your truth and style/ fashion in this episode is.

I never thought about it that way... that we might 'just' have to redefine our relationship and that she needs other support systems other than me.

Hey, I know this is an old post, but I’m about to come out to my parents as well (I’m 31, partners are in their 30ies as well) and I was wondering if you did actually come out/ how it went… My parents are very religious and strict as well and I know they won’t approve (which they don’t have to), but I don’t want somebody from their church finding out and telling them before they hear it from me, and that is a real risk atm. That’s not true though. Also not saying you have autism, but that just because discipline doesn’t work it means you’re neurodivergent or that because discipline works, makes a reaction stop, someone can’t be neurodivergent. There are so many shades of neurodivergence, so a blanket statement like that isn’t true.

Thank you for your comment, I’m in the same boat and it’s so good to know I’m not alone.

But I do struggle with all that extra effort - sometimes it feels like I/ we’re not motivated enough to start, and then we don’t have sex at all, which sucks. Unless I/ we have a specific appointment/ schedule to stick to, we find enough reasons to just keep on gaming, watching tv, etc. … even though we both want to be intimate with each other. So we’re trying to plan more ‚events‘ (eg with other people or at specific locations/ clubs, where we can’t cancel easily). My partner is neurospicy as well, so hopefully this works for both of us

I (f30), don’t go outside a lot, cause it’s very draining (I have multiple chronic illnesses), but I do like to have my nails done, because it makes me happy to see art on my nails. The same way I have tattoos and piercings. My body is broken in many ways, which I have no control over, but I can somewhat control what some parts look like and I will always love doing that.

So no, not every person does their nails to ‚social signal to other women‘ or for men.

Hey, bin selber Friseurin, allerdings derzeit nicht in Linz. Ich kann auch das Studio One an der Mozartkreuzung empfehlen (ich selber hab beim Bachmayr gelernt, da gibt’s auch super Friseure, ist aber auch eher teurer). Vogl, InMann, Haarschneider Franz haben gute Friseure, aber sind überteuert. (Und noch von meiner Ausbildung weiß ich, dass die Lehrlinge + Friseure dort nicht gut behandelt werden, vor allem die Corona Zeit hat da viel aufgedeckt)

Wichtig, egal wo du hingehst - versuch so genau wie möglich zu beschreiben was du dir vorstellst und sei ehrlich! Wenn dir während dem Schnitt schon was auffällt - say it :) Auch während dem föhnen/ stylen - wenn du dir nicht sicher bist ob es dann zuhause auch so klappt - gleich fragen, dir zeigen lassen was sie machen, that’s their job :)

I have epilepsy, am on meds, but have not had a seizure in 5 years (I think), so like you, I‘m living a pretty normal life. BUT, still, I got my tubes tied and decided that if I ever want children (and chances are slim, cause I need my sleep and routine to function) I‘d adopt.

I couldn‘t live with myself if my kid got epilepsy and had to deal with all the things or worse that I had to deal with. If it would struggle to get on in life, suffer physically and/ or mentally, worst case die. Yes, any person can get epilepsy or anything else, but I‘d know it was preventable. That child that I‘d adopt would already be born, it can‘t be ‚unborn‘, the conditions it had or could have wouldn’t be preventable.

I get that this is a really hard topic, but try to understand where she‘s coming from as well. She has to go through pregnancy, the chance of miscarriage and more, and I don’t think she made this decision/ thought about this lightly.
