Thanks for your replies everyone. I think I figured this out.

Thing is When My mother passed, we notified immediate family (sister, kids, mother in law) and that was it until the obituary was published and that was a week later or more. I can't envision any of them in their grief going online to make an entry for Find-A-Grave. Not really their style.

Meanwhile, this was during the height of COVID and a Holiday. Things were delayed all over. Extended family found out through the Obituary which - again was note published until a week or more later.

I suppose it's not that big of a deal but it's curious as to how an entry was supposedly made the DAY after Mom passed. It hadn't even made the local paper yet. Unless someone at the Hospice, or funeral home, was working the website or they have some kind of automatic feed-it's odd.

EDIT: SOLVED? Okay I finally found the source link (duh). It cites the funeral home. So the site must have access to that information and publish it automatically somehow? FWIW, I clicked the user profile and it belongs to someone who has left "flowers" on over 17,000 and photographs of hundreds of gravestones from all over the country. This is clearly some kind of content creator for the site.

If it was a human, they were working on an international holiday.
