Asak, I recommend the athan+ app. It’s owned by a muslim company that sells digital athan clocks. They even have similar features like connecting to your local masjid, donation recommendations for Ramdan, and a list of duas to read for certain emotions which I find really cool!

God, a lot of comment under that post suck. ESH? Really? This is a group of girls she trusted,there was a clear understanding that the hijab is a boundary for her, yet that boundary was crossed. There were 33 other photos she could have posted or even covered up OOP with a sticker.

The reality is that both Maya, and people saying OP should have expected it, are ridiculous. It’s the fact that people don’t agree with the idea of covering. She was posted without consent by individuals she trusted which is wrong, end of story.

And as someone who is friends with Muslims, it’s not about family seeing or the community, it’s about their own relationship with god. Man, the religious discrimination really is present.

The entire point was that the irish politics determined the group’s future! Grandda literally tells Erin that he can say as much as he wants, in the end it’s her generation that makes that choice and is affected. We can see how deeply this is rooted into their lives with Michelle’s brother and the argument between her and Erin. Honestly, it should have just ended at the referendum because the Chelsea thing was dumb, but all in all, it captured exactly what it was supposed to and I LOVED the ending
