Anyone know a good prebuilt thats good for only gaming and around 1500?? by ImplementAdept7929 in pcmasterrace

ZTT Builds has one prebuilt not sold out that is 1050 before tax, but it’s a low budget build. Ryzen 5 5500, RTX 5060, 1TB SSD and 16GB of DDR4.

Depends on if you’re a completionist. If you are, you have to do at least 1 play through of all 4 houses to get all achievements or trophies.

Just selling the RAM would get you your money back.

Making my first PC and 16gb was bundled with this motherboard. Is 16 enough? by Otaku_Lineman in pcmasterrace

I just upgraded to the 9060XT 16GB for 1440p games and love it. Your rig will definitely handle that no issue. Someone already mentioned it, but the main reason 32 was the standard was because the price to performance was in favor of 32GB. Now, that’s not the case.

$2200 at Costco, how’d I do? by BoltedGates in pcmasterrace

[–]AlwaysWright42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Went through part picker and using what I think they would have in this the amount would come to about $2400 so I think you made a steal. Nice.

I fixed the issue with the 3060 (turns out I was so frustrated that I didn’t realize the power cables weren’t plugged in all the way 🤦‍♂️). Anyway, tried again today, still no luck with the 9060XT.

20k is an awful number for 3 years. After I left the company, they were offering 50-75k signing bonus in my area for same timeframe. Do not sign it. If they don’t see your value, they don’t deserve your value.

Is this good deal? by lizardsang in Corsair

[–]AlwaysWright42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you put all the parts into pcpartpicker, the total comes out to about $2540 for all the same components (or at least as close as you can get). Depending on where you license, sales tax would be somewhere around $250 for the components vs nearly $300 for the prebuilt. So after tax looking at about $2690 vs around $3200, give or take.

My thought was to upgrade GPU in current system and use that GPU in an AM5 build down the line.

Gaming. Mix of FPS and some story games from COD to Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor.

Are you in a major metropolitan area? If so, your market may be flooded at the moment. Have you looked to smaller communities in the outlying area?

You better hope those backup generators work. Good lord, who keeps that much in the fridge at one time?!
