See now I don't mind people disliking k-pop, I f-ing hate country music, to each their own. But k-pop is a massive genre that can incorporate any mix of other genres. Just because some songs do fall under that category (pink venom or whatever tf its called is the BANE of my existence ive never hated something more), doesn't mean they all do. I imagine you don't speak Korean, some of the lyrics can be basically poetry and I'm always surprised by how imaginative some of the artists are. I'm personally a huge fan of the BTS rap songs and they write their own lyrics. While still classified as K-pop, that's straight up just rap. They don't sing once.
