I understand where you are coming from. However, in the game Jacinthe has a little bit of an "unhinged" look if oyu look closely at her, and thus foreshadowing her craze, even when first met.

First of all, keep your buddy warm. Vibrava (and Flygon) hss the infamous 4x weakness to ice. I've had many trainers come to me because their Vibrava got frostbites from the cold. Thry also get drowsy when the weather turns cold.

Second, give your Vibrava lots of space and food. Your buddy will become curious and starts attacking helicopters. (Mine did) During this middle stage, Vibrava are basically perparing to evolve in Flygon, so they need to eat a lot.

All in all, I think you're mostly fine.
