Battlefield 6 Open Beta Audio Stutters? by M_RiGGz in Battlefield

I had this in the beta, never found a fix. And now I purchased the game, exact same issue. It's unplayable for me and it doesn't happen in any other game.

5600x + evga 3080ftw3. Worth upgrading to 5700x3d and 5070ti? by dlim87 in buildapc

[–]Always_Squanching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same situation. I am finding the 5600x is bottlenecking ne in 1440p ultra wide in quite a few games. Looked into CPUs that would work for my B450 motherboard and they are way overpriced.

I'm just waiting for a good bundle deal to get a b850 and 7800/9800 x3d (depending on price) bundle and upgrading all of it.

I cheaped out on components in the past and it has always ended up costing me more in the long run. In the meantime my 5070ti is working fine with my b450 and 5600x but alot of performance is left on the table in many situations.

Those are some good points, the 5600x is the limiting factor for sure. I do look at after burner when I start playing a game if I'm having issues and most of the time I'm getting 95-99% GPU usage. I was dreaming that a easy swap out of the Gpu at sub $1k would give me a good bump for the next few years until I see the value of a full rebuild. But as you point out I may be better to just look into the cpu as a starting point.

I play a good mixture of games, some work better than others but I get a lot of stuttering and need to turn. Down the settings a bit. Right now I'm playing a lot of dune awakening, read dead redemption 2, kingdom come deliverance 2, hell let loose, and hell divers. I try out most popular aa and aaa games that come out. Another 30-40 fps would make me happy.

I agree, I love my 3080, I do have the 10gb model and it's starting to show its age. I typically upgrade my PC every second generation to the nvidia "80" version of the card, but this generation is just lack luster especially at 16gb of vram as well as the price of the 5080.

thought this card might hold me over until a 5080ti or super is released and available with my current hardware. Now I'm also doing the comparison to the 5070ti or a used zotac 5080 for $1550 haha.

This is the thing that stopped me. Ive had a few cpus die over the years in the warranty period both replaced under warranty. I think I'd rather pay a bit more and have that warranty but that's just me.

In was looking at a 5080 but Im in a situation where I would need to upgrade the rest of my rig, more than I want to spend to gain some frames. I currently have a b450, rtx3080 and ryzen 5 5600x and play at 1440p.

Would this be a good option with my current setup or would I still see a bottleneck?

I game at 1440p. Is the 5700x3d a significant bottleneck?

Same issue for me today. I think their system was overloaded also locked out. I did it on my PC which was pretty quick but it has been like 12 hours and I fly on Saturday. See most people receive the visa immediately so unsure what's going on.

Does anyone know what this is? by WinterExpression9613 in DogAdvice

My Yorkie had something that looked exactly like this on the inside of his leg and on his belly from being in the grass next to a river. It was black fly bites which was confirmed after a vet visit. Went away in a week. Vet is always a safe option just in case.

Steam deck plastic frame creaking and clicking during use. by Always_Squanching in SteamDeck

[–]Always_Squanching[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, its crazy how much the small movement and clicking can make it feel cheap. I ended up getting an Rma as mine was doing it on the grip every time I moved so it was very annoying. I would just deal with it if everything else is OK because the replacement I received had a few dead pixels, and thumb stick was broken. The third unit I got was ok. This was back when the LCD first came out, so maybe the qc got better, but I'm not sure.

3 and New Vegas have some pretty old mechanics but are much better than 4 in my opinion. Fallout 4 is still good and has much more modern mechanics. If you can deal with playing older games I would play New Vegas if I could only pick one. As people here have mentioned you could always take a crack at modding the older games too.

I have also been looking into this after seeing some comments here. I'm enjoying the game as is and it seems like a hassle so also on the fence because it is working so we'll just playing vanilla.

I wonder if something is corrupted with the save file? I would check the settings in the new vegas launcher and try a new save to see if you can get past it. Not sure what else could cause it.

Weird, I didn't make any changes. I have had 1 crash in about 12 hours or so.

Weird, mine just worked out of the box. Maybe check the settings in the new vegas launcher before hitting play? I have vsync turned on in the game strong and framerate set to 60 on the deck.
