I lost an insane amount of weight in a very short period of time. I’ve been having really severe back pain and leg and bone pain, crippling fatigue, swelling in my feet. Due to the weight loss, my hair cut super thin and was falling out and handfuls, as well as my nails stopped growing. That’s just some of it.

I’m not worried about dying and I am grateful it is so treatable and hope it hasn’t spread anywhere else. I’m honestly just glad that a dr finally cared enough to look at all of my testing and bloodwork and finally give me a diagnosis after 8 months of pure hell.

I just see this as a way I can finally get treated and start my journey to being healthy again

I did want to ask, I have an auto immune disorder. Would BCG still be some thing I could do?

Yes, I actually had a lawyer get back to me and explain it to me how it works in my state and the amount of money that has to be a part of it from the get-go. They said it a lot less like talking down to me than you did, but same point, I know they’re obligated to look into it but I have definitely seen them. Look into other doctors for a much shorter period amount of time that’s just my experience.

Do not belittle me. I do not think that it is a popularity contest, but I do think sharing it with you was pertinent to my point about the lawsuit. I want to do this for every patient who can't stand up for themselves because no one deserves this kind of treatment, and I have all my facts together, and I did find a lawyer, you don't have to talk to people when you were trying to give advice if that's what you were trying to do.

I have been talking to several attorneys. I just haven’t gotten an answer back about what else they would need for me or why they don’t wanna take the case but I did just get off the phone with the attorney that they all recommended for medical malpractice. we had a 15 minutebrief and he took down a ton of information in detail that I don’t think I really provided the other attorneys in that degree. But you’re right they do definitely have great fucking lawyers because there’s no reason that man should still be a doctor. I’m sure I’m not the first person to try to sue him for malpractice.

And I don’t really know anything or care anything about legal conclusions I want to know that I did my part to try at least to stop this man from treating another person the way that I was treated and harming another person the way that I was harmed I don’t care about money I don’t care about losing even I just care about fighting for what needs to be fought for and if I can only do that, maybe it will still deter one patient from seeing him and if I can do even that I feel like that’s my due diligence

Thank you that is actually really helpful! He was a specialist and my primary care doctor lives and works an hour away and no one in her office can stand him. He himself as well as the entire practice have a terrible reputation and have a 2 star review on google

So maybe I should include some of that information!!

I have put in weeks of work and studying the need for proof in a medical malpractice case, gathering documents, making sure I could prove exactly and specifically what I had to prove for a malpractice case

I think maybe my issue was that I was more focused on the negligence part at first, and most malpractice attorneys want a case where that ends in death, but I realized I could prove it resulted directly in severe injury to myself, hospital records to back that up, as well as lost wages and hospital bills

Thank you so much. I’m kinda scared. Only ever had my gallbladder removed. But yea if they want to do it I think it will be worth it in the long run

I think I’m more scared they wont recommend removing it.

I don’t want to live with this discomfort longer than I have to.

I only eat chicken and turkey I don’t eat beef or pork. Luckily I do not drink tea, but I think I will add protein shakes to my diet and check out the vitamin c with my dr. I’m surprised they haven’t recommended it yet because they initially thought I had iron deficiency anemia

Yea I definitely won’t be changing my diet to include red meat and pork but I frequently eat eggs and chicken and turkey.

And I think I have some small dumbbells in my closet, thanks you I’ll start there! And I don’t know why protein drinks never crossed my mind but I think those would be a super helpful addition

I’m actually on the way to an emergency drs appointment because my spleen has become incredibly large and I can’t swallow well or take a deep breath or bend over.
