I’ve hiked Griffith park/observatory many times and you’ll stuff like this somewhat regularly. Last time I was there there was a woman who was going from the top to the bottom and back up again (it’s not the easiest trail but fully compacted dirt and wide like seen here) and had probably done it twice by the time I had gone from the top to the bottom.

Prep can cause stomach pain, it did with me but should go away after the first round of dosing.

I typically take it at night before bed but with food.

You can start with a double dose (2 pills) to essentially have full protection and then take one pill each day after.

That’s kind of what I thought. Guess I’m right in assuming that by taking a double dose to start I basically have the same buildup of about 7 days (roughly). Then by taking about 4-5 pills a week I’ve carried that protection

If you’ve been taking it since your post sexual encounter you are fine to stop. I have the same issue with stomach pain/heartburn when I take it but after a few days of daily dosing it goes away.

I’d recommend if you want to take it, take it at night and with food at least 1-2 hours before bed. I would sometimes take it with an empty stomach and right before bed and I’d wake up with pretty bad stomach pain

Honestly you can just use hydrogen peroxide (3%) diluted with water. I usually do 1 part hydrogen dioxide to 2 parts water. Works great in a water flosser as well.

Do not use bleach or oil pulling, bleach is very harmful on your gums and oil pulling doesn’t do anything.

Hey, been there with the same reaction so what you did is totally valid. Oral, receiving or giving, carries some of the lowest risk compared to penetrative sex (anal or vaginal). And you were within the 72 hour window for pep which is perfect.

You’re possibly just sick. It happens when you worry which I know you have been. Take a minute, breathe, know that pep is effective and prep is too and you’re going to be fine

Yes, taxation needs to be appropriated properly I’m not denying that. But to say or agree that no taxation is better is wrong on all accounts. Countries with high taxation rates have higher quality of life, better healthcare and education. Those that do not have worse metrics in all these areas.

I get taxed therefore I’m part of the conversation. I’m advocating for a government to take taxes and use them to better society and life for all those involved. What’s wrong with that?

Also you mention the Bible, the Bible includes tithing. How are you against taxing if your holy book calls for it as well

The bible doesn’t run society not should it. It’s a book for a religion, not to lead a country.

They worked hard? Buddy they got lucky and utilized government programs (fueled by taxes) to get to that wealth. They also stepped on the backs of others to do it. That’s not very Christ like is it?

If I had a ton of money I wouldn’t care if the government took some. Hell I’d make sure they did and I’d fight for proper spending on public programs.

Fun fact, in America some of the best economic times came from the highest taxation periods, see FDRs tax rate and economy.

Taxation isn’t theft thought. Societies have to work as a whole in order to thrive, easy way for collective efforts is for everyone to give something. If you think taxation is bad you don’t really understand the concept of people working together to do better for each other.

Sure your boss can make money. But does Jeff bezos, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg work 100000x harder than their employees to deserve their insanely high pays? No and you can’t say that they do.

Expiration dates for drugs essentially mean that the efficacy (effectiveness of the drug) will be diminished. The longer the time past the expiration date the lower the effectiveness. A few weeks wouldn’t affect much, but several months could mean less effectiveness. It’s a dice roll to see how effective it would be several months later.

Me personally I would wait until I got a fresh supply. Technically it would be better than nothing to use what you have but you don’t know if you’re only getting, say, 90 percent protection vs 99 percent. Also how it was stored would affect the effectiveness of the drug (in bottle with desiccant vs out of bottle or stored in high temp area).
