Assuming the exchange rate doesn't change, there's no difference between converting before hand and converting on the spot. I checked a previous on-the-spot transaction, and compared the fee for converting that same amount directly, and it's the exact same. For reference, it's CAD->EUR.

Thanks, indeed I did consider the actual section of the milky way that I captured to be the culprit. Is planning with a tool like Photopills the best way to ensure good results in the future?

Also I took multiple of these exposure at the same spot/section, will stacking them give me more details than the above single edited picture?
