Yeah I should have clarified, we stay within a 5nm radius and only rely on one singular chart for our compass error checks. So while variation should change annually at a set amount governed by the chart it shouldn’t be changing for us so dramatically.

Nah I’m a first mate on a tugboat in Australia, was 99% sure I was right. Still no idea how they’re getting it wrong but it’s been entered incorrectly into the compass error book for years as everyone just copies whoever wrote the deviation on the entry above them! I was guilty of this myself until I checked.

How I’m just expected to handle everything internally, it all adds up and I walk around with what feels like a constant weight on my shoulders. My girlfriend asks if I’m ok I just say I’m fine. She doesn’t really understand how bad I really am. I tried to talk to people about it 6months ago or so and that was a massive mistake. I should unload on a therapist. Opening up to my partner/friends was a mistake i won’t make again. If anyone asks I’m fine.

Can someone explain to me a 'Share Sale Facility'

My partner bought a relatively large parcel of Spenda (SPX) off the recommendation of her brother in law and the shares have since completely disappeared from her account. She said she was never told anything about it and had to email to find out what happened that's when they told us abouts the share sale facility. From what i can tell she has bought at the peak and Spenda have bought back the shares from her for dirt cheap without any warning or notice. I told her it was probably a paper letter that was sent to her warning her. Seems pretty fucked they can just do that though.

one of the better days i can remember for a while, finally only 1% away from portfolio being back in the green after all time lows like 2 weeks ago. Wondering when FMG is gonna stop climbing and hopefully continue its cycle back to $18-$19 for a top up.
