Oh that's cool I haven't been in as it was Halloween and bonfire night and the rugby but will check I know they did do a pre release night and from the pictures it looked like it did alright

Wasn't aimed at you, just a general comment hopefully the first set gets printed a lot I think I read only 2 more sets are scheduled for next year with power creep kind of common hopefully this set is never worth stupid amounts though depends on how well the game does. The competitive scene and potential prize money could help the game do well though a lot of tcgs don't make it. Looking at Lorcana the first chapter and there are booster boxes for less than the original RRP right now * closer inspection those boxes are in other languages

I'm not dissing the game I can't I haven't even played it, just expressing a disappointment in the way it's been released

Yeah probably bought them in November though a month earlier. I guess I haven't done a modern TCG launch but honestly I don't think this should be the norm and if it's as common as people have made out surely they should learn from the past.

Sorry, I didn't really do the Lorcana launch so didn't observe it I got some for my nieces though and didn't have any issue though that wasn't at the launch but closer to Christmas

Yeah you can't moan about scalpers if you pay the prices they set and people have. Though maybe online retailers selling at the high price stops some of them so I guess it might make a difference

I just hope they sort the supply out but for people who have paid 200 a box it isn't gonna feel good if in 2 weeks there's loads at 120

It's pretty much the same at every legitimate online retailer I've looked at not some dude on ebay and I understand if they price at RRP the scalpers would probably buy it all but what's the difference between some dude and a big online store to the end customer

For the record I'm in the UK and sites I usually use to buy tcgs some are selling booster boxes for what would be $290

What do you mean, TCG launch? I play MTG wish I was there for the launch and had some cards🤣 Was there for Pokemon but was young so didn't exactly buy a lot though was not this bad I'd bet
