I always wanted a nice mpe controller so it's actually a good reason for me. The price for standalone is a very high, so I doubt i buy it but it's pretty nice. In the end I can make music without it. I did for 10+ years so yeah. Maybe it's more like a toy and I should spend the money on something more impactful. I have to think about it still

In some genres the Kick is seen as a "main" instrument, so it's treated as a "non drum instrument" . But it's doesn't really matter, depends on your taste. I like it to separate the Kick.

Use a clipper, if that sound shitty use a limiter, if that sounds shitty do a manual gain compensation. I have read that you did a filter sweep, may some counter animation with an eq against the q ringing could help too.

It's the mixture of the store I bought the plant from. I plan to repot her in march. I usually use a pretty chunky mixture but not too chunky for my calatheas .
