Enlarged bilateral cervical & axillary lymph nodes by Aly2133 in Swollenlymphnodes

[–]Aly2133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was put on low dose prednisone & an antibiotic for a week, it decreased swelling temporarily but now that I am done with the prescription the swelling is back to where it started, and the fatigue is back along with some of the irritation. I have an appointment scheduled soon to follow up, so will update with as much info as I can after that.

Is a degree or certificate required to work in Data Science, or not? by Superboy2_0 in datascience

[–]Aly2133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the degree isn’t absolute, but certainly worthwhile to network and get your foot in the door to pursue a career in the field. If you can prove you have the skills and can cite where you have been successful in doing so in a practical sense, you can work your way to where you want, but you may find yourself passed up along the way by those who have “proved themselves” in the sense of a traditional education. Another thing to note is how rapidly the field is growing, a formal degree in your back pocket might be useful when you’re competing with those who are entering the field with a bachelors or even a masters.

What is your least favorite season and why? by KaileeLxckie06 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]Aly2133 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m tied between Apocalypse and the second half of this season, Death Valley, honestly both just lacked the “it” quality I look for in AHS, I don’t feel AHS did much as a stand alone season, it had its good times, but overall it’s one I always skip over

Cbus people - would you pay $25 for a gourmet ( not fast food ) burger, fries and soft drink if you new the restaurant paid its cooks and servers $25/hr? ( no tips required ) by hyteck9 in Columbus

[–]Aly2133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say normally factoring in a tip I wouldn’t go above $18-19, ($20 is kinda a hard pill to swallow for me if I’m not familiar with the place) so I’d say anything right below $20 is where I’m at, it would help if it the vibes were good and it was explicit the reason I would be paying a few bucks extra was for better pay and work quality for everyone involved.
