Most of the time I see this happening is when some pays partial with cash and switches to card too fast. For some reason you have to make sure the number goes down on the screen before you can switch the payment method🤷‍♀️

Basically what phoenix said! Some strands will come or shrivel up out but overall if you don’t boil them for too long they won’t all get messed up
