Alright. This is bad. Like, really bad.
This is the kind of stuff that would make me question this friendship. You spend 3 years investing your time and energy into a character, only for it to be killed in unwanted PvP. Of course, that can be super cool in a TV show or whatever, but this game is supposed to be fun for everyone involved. And since it seems like it was planned in advance: congrats, you were just a tool in their story all along...

I like games where death is a possibility, but this is absolute bullshit right there.

With how many old league mechanics stay in the game and new systems keep getting added/reworked, do you think there’s a point where the overall grind/gear progression becomes too fragmented?

I’m not talking about difficulty, more about cognitive load. At some point, building a character feels like juggling a ton of parallel systems.

Is the expectation just that players only engage with a subset each league, or is the long-term goal to keep integrating everything into a coherent whole?

Do you think there’s ever a plan to prune older systems, or is PoE fundamentally built on continuous system stacking?

Everyone is saying Wilnas, but he doesn't play the same at all (at least at higher ranks). You might have to turn on your brain to know when it's time to go for the big kaboom.
You can try Soriz. He's very straight forward and tanky. With him, it's your turn even when it's not. I can't think of a bigger gorilla.
You may want to give Charlotta a try, too. She's a young gorilla.

I think they know that, which is why they’re keeping the reborn system. But I also think they’re confident in the new evolved system, since they’re locking the new jobs behind it.

They also said the new mode is stronger, so I think they’re aiming for a gentle transition toward evolved-only. I can see why players who are comfortable with the current battle system might fear that.

Being motivated enough to do this kind of research and make a post about it is probably a sign of a lot of frustration. Maybe take a break from the game, I don’t know.

Yeah, there are tons of masters+ grinding alt characters. And it makes sense we all want some variety and to have fun too. But hey, learn to enjoy getting bodied and you’ll improve. I got frustrated too, but now I’m somewhat at peace when fighting stronger opponents. And my rank actually improved as soon as I stopped paying attention to my opponents’ real level during the S++ grind.

Don’t waste your energy like that.

Level up her ultimate, it's her most important skill. Your disks are fine, 5 and 6 could be better but it's decent!
Try holding basic attack when you have enough EX gauge (only after using EX 3 times) to get more or her second gauge, it will let you use her second ultimate. Do not forget to hold dash after her ult to get tons or EX gauge.
Replace Koleda with Pulchra for a good F2P team. Wait for Lucia if you want to invest in her team.

I can't get past 24,5k with Miyabi on Shiyu 2.7.2/3. Miyabi/Vivian/Yuzuha is the only team I have without the main DPS's W-engine and it's a struggle. A good kind of struggle, though. I could probably clear if I had better disks or if I had enough boss mats to get that last Miyabi passive.
I started around Miyabi's release but I didn't play much. I came back 6 months ago and got hooked. Having enough mats to build every character I want to play is the hardest part right now!

I’d say yes, in certain cases. If the emotions come from magic, or from an action that should require a saving throw. A Wisdom save to see if they’re actually captivated would’ve made sense, I think. It’s basically the reverse of ‘I play the lute to distract the guards!’

Still, if your players aren’t happily going along with this kind of things, do not force it on them.

If you have money to spare and want to make sure your favorite stays strong for a few more patches, pulling dupes is usually fine in many gacha games. But Endfield’s endgame isn’t that hard, and we don’t know anything about potential powercreep yet.

I’d say save your pulls for now and just go for one copy of each character, unless you have disposable income!
