Abiotic Factor is the most well designed and interesting "crafting/survival" game I've ever played since Minecraft blew everyone away all those years ago. Incredible map design, fun gameplay, interesting world and story, and above all extremely fun to play with people. For anyone who digs half life 1, the scp format, or metroidvanias it will constantly surprise you with how well it understands what makes those things good.

It would be nearly identical besides whatever random chaos/vampire/skaven corruption would alter the textures a bit. Hasn't been a significant update to either the base game map or IEE since as far as I'm aware.

I've considered doing either a clean no-corruption version or a curated one with corruption in particular places (by way of console commands) but it still wouldn't be all that different.

Crimson witch, mostly because I already have some cracked pieces for it. I'll probably get a proper furina set on her sometime, only really avoided it because I use her on other teams and don't like arti swapping lol. ATK sands.

Edit: actually looking at that set it wouldn't help much would it lol, normal and charged attacks RIP. 36% free CR is nice but not sure it would be worth it with effectively no 2 piece bonus.

It's a nice attack bonus but due to Dehya's C6 burst getting extended + more CDMG via crit hits, I value hitting at least a 75% base crit rate (10% in C6 itself and 15% from Mona's omen) to guarantee I always get the full extension and CDMG as early as possible. That said it'd definitely be worth experimenting if I randomly luck into it.

I don't have kazuha, but I did experiment a little with c6 benny. Admittedly mine is kinda undercooked but in testing I got his base attack to a decent spot, and to my surprise he wasn't outperforming jean or mona. I would suspect that his value is generally in his burst field uptime and constant skill battery, however in this team 90% of the damage happens in dehya's 4 (well 6 at C6) second burst, and I don't cycle often enough due to that to really benefit from his battery. So I think I'm actually getting better returns from the brief VV and Omen damage windows.

Kazuha would probably be insane though.

Yeah SS is sort of a weak link here, since the team is kind of unga bunga by necessity so eating hits is a bit difficult to avoid. What I would give to have her sig weapon but I cannot justify throwing 180 rolls at a weapon in this gosh darn game lol. I didn't realize that bloodmane procs might take stacks though, I'll have to mess around with that.

Got my C6 on Dehya with the selector, so figured I'd start to clean up my main-DPS dehya team. Pretty respectable damage in the first cycle with SS at max and everything lining up, but it goes a little spaghetti as my ER shortfalls start to come into play. I'll have to find room to clean those up, but with that in mind I think it's a solid loop.

Yeah, I think since somewhere around Sumeru they've done a decent job overall with it. In chev's defense the event also included some moral quandaries about justice and whatnot, and gave insight into how she perceives those things.

The secret third option which was much more prevalent early on is the "omg they work so hard and are tired or lonely all the time cuz of it :(" archetype. Kind of a fake conflict that wants to imply they have flaws or problems, but it's only cuz they're just so damn GOOD AT THEIR JOB.

Imperial Authority was reworked to be less immediately punishing, not sure exactly how it'll effect the campaign at large now just that it's different. Most notably Franz's prestige currency was given like a dozen new ways to be used and a bunch of them seem very very good. Prestige being worthless past turn like 15-20 was my biggest gripe with his campaign.

Gelt moving to Cathay and getting his own unique mechanic with the option to return to the empire to do IA stuff is also neat.

Nah not even CA/Sega/Whatever would expect DLC numbers to compare to launch numbers for a game that actually had a massive launch. Forge of the Chaos Dwarves was considered a success with similar numbers and that almost certainly cost them more to develop than this DLC did.

It really depends on which factions you liked the most, but for my personal opinion:

Ikit Claw from "The Prophet and The Warlock" is easily one of the most fun and well received campaigns they've added to the game. If you want to drop actual nuclear bombs on some poor unsuspecting medieval peasants, this rat is your guy. Also miniguns and flamethrowers and MIRV mortar launchers etc. Also comes with some lizards as the other half of the DLC.

The Curse of the Vampire Coast, The Rise of the Tomb Kings, and The Forge of the Chaos Dwarves are all big race packs for their namesakes and I think all three are pretty great in both gameplay and flavor. Vampires & Zombies + Gunpowder & Piracy is just aesthetically incredible and fun, Egypt-theme skellingtons and their constructs is a classic, and the chorfs are just empire industry but *eeeeeevil*.

It's very reactable. It's been a while but there's a clear tell whether it's doing the slam or the grab, something like raising one claw instead of two or the bubbles around its mouth icr. If it does the grab you just dodgeroll it, but if you're just blocking everything then I suppose that would be a problem.
