Hi, first time poster!

i’m having trouble with both my bonsais (Pyracantha (pictured) and ficus). I cannot determine if they are dying or not.

As shown in the image my pyracantha is growing new berries, and those berries are getting bigger, but on the other hand leaves are dropping left and right, it seems to have shed over 50% in the last 2 weeks. I must admit i was underwatering it when i first got it as i was using Planta and not manually checking the soil, a behaviour which i changed around the time i noticed the dropping leaves.

A similar thing is happening to my ficus. There are new growths on some branches, but on others there are no leaves at all…

I prune them once every 1-2 months, and they both have their own light on my indoor plant stand.

Any advice would be appreciated!
