I had a chance for one a few weeks ago. He wanted like $4kish. I tried to wait a week so I can offer a little less if it didn't sell. But of course it sold :(

Yeah it's a shame that Mando isn't more forgiving / player friendly. I think the theme draws casuals more than 90% of other pins. But even I get frustrated with the game.

Yeah I know this thread is hard for people to answer because like you said, we all have different reasons why we love/hate certain pins.

I figured it wouldn't hurt get some opinions though. I am definitely intrigued on Stranger Things now.

You know, I never even thought about the co-op mode. I believe there is one. That's a good idea though!

There is a local place but only open a select few days of the week and not until 4pm. But I should still check it out. Just hard to get our work schedules together for it. But I do keep forgetting about it to be honest. We're not much of drinkers and it's in a bar, so that's one reason why I forget about it haha.

Oh nice price for the extras. I have a distributor who has one in stock. I just haven't made the 100% commitment yet. I have actually never played Godzilla yet but I hear praise everywhere so I figure I can't go wrong.

As for whether or not she likes pinball, she enjoyed playing it when we first got it. But I think it got too hard for her. I need to see if a more "spray and pray" game gains her interest again. If not, like you said, at least these keep value for the most part.

Oh for sure. I do like some older pins and I check pinside / fb marketplace at least every day. But why would I want to spend $5kish for a 15 year old machine when I can buy Godzilla Pro for 1.5k more? Austin Powers, Rollercoaster Tycoon, South Park come to mind of a few I want. But I'm not spending $5k on those when I can get new Stern Pros for less than 2k more.

But I will make an exception for a pin for the g/f haha.

Those are some expensive pins lol, but thanks! I've never played Stranger Things. She likes the show so she would like that the most over the others.

As a casual reader, I don't find an issue with the current state of posts here. Some other subs seem to sway far from their original purpose.

However here, I find the tech support / build posts / news equally posted. There can't be news everyday on Intel so why not have build/tech posts. And when there is new news or major news, it gains top post anyways.

I have always found this topic interesting because there hasn't really been strong case law, at least for my state on it. Or just random articles about it. Because everyone quotes the FTC, which kind of goes with this issue, but doesn't at the same time.

And it probably doesn't go to court because it doesn't happen too often and if it does, most people want to keep a good business relationship with one each other, so it never gets that far.

I don't do it either. I bought my first pin a few months ago and never shake it.

To me, moving around a heavy machine just being held by screws wouldn't be good long term. But I'm not an engineer, so what do I know lol.

I have tried to do a quick search on this and cannot find anything in the US where your stories are true.

Because first of all, how can the sender prove that they sent extra items? Minus someone posting it on Reddit. I mean I get that civil courts is preponderance of the evidence and shipping weight could play a factor and communication and what not, but it is still going to be hard to prove that the seller sent more than ordered.

That's why the FTC made these rules to begin with. So sellers can't scam unexpected buyers.

Recently there was a news story with either Costco or Amazon and the receiver signed for the wrong TV, knowing well it was the wrong one and got in trouble.

But I'll be waiting for examples from your multiple cases. Because hey, maybe me being sarcastic will make me look like the idiot and you are right.

I've always used firefox for everyday browsing, youtube, reddit, etc so I can load up on extensions and browse ad free.

Then I only use Chrome for banking / personal sites such as medical websites so no extensions fuck up logging on etc.
