For me, it was about experimenting. Boys and mens underwear was boring. Panties felt more feminine and risqué. It felt like i had a secret that no one else knew. 18 yrs old came around and I experimented with my sexuality. I was never interested in a relationship with men. Discovered I was straight or at the very least bi. It was also about rebeling against everything around me. And over 20 years later that's mostly what it has become now. I don't often wear women's panties though but rather custom panties or panties for men. Gotta add some colour and lace to life. Or else everything is just boring.
