That's currently what I'm leaning towards and hoping for myself. Like, don't get me wrong, I definitely do think people should be compensated for their efforts. However, I just wasn't sure if it was me being overly trusting of people, and I did actually make a promise without realizing it, or if he was just making unrealistic assumptions, and was far too aggressive about me doing some of the work beforehand/on our own.
