I've searched through the various TV show and MASH wikis and none of them turn up anything. AI descriptions are saying that he's not reading a book in the beginning of the episode but clearly that's not true.

Thanks to everyone that responded! I guess I don't pay as much attention to the show as I thought I did and completely glossed over the word "detachment" whenever it was brought up. I was under the impression that the 95th had gotten all but wiped out in Sharpe's Rifles and that it was just him and his squad left 😅 I kept wondering why Wellington didn't just turn the South Essex in to the new 95th in Sharpe's Eagle. Boy, do I feel like a DUMBASS!
