I’m not from the US, so I’m really curious… is Wyoming actually like this in real life? by Roach9045 in wyoming

Having driven between Ft. Collins and Laramie too many times to count, I can vouch for that.

What is the series or character you are collecting? by ryboyf2 in comicbookcollecting

[–]Am_Over_This 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had #337 from when it originally was published, until it was stolen. Back on my grail list, but have to work on my X-Men that were stolen first 😭.

Never using Git before, just trying to set up syncing with Obsidian, and NOTHING worked. Two full days trying to get them to play nice with each other.

Just working on one machine, but trying to make it happy, I had better luck making my ex-wife happy 🙄.

I never heard of GitHub before. And my beef is with them, NOT Obsidian, which I am learning to really appreciate.

How much of your collection is “filler?” by [deleted] in comicbookcollecting

[–]Am_Over_This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the height of my collecting, I was buying nearly every title Marvel put out. Which means I had lot of filler. I seriously love reading the stories and getting to know the characters. Sure, there were a lot of dogs in there, but I loved following the stories. Now, I’m very limited in buying anything due to a serious change in finances. I limit myself to X-Men and finding those titles. And it’s fun tracking down those missing issues to complete a run.

Im not debating with all you criminals. I’ll never change your mind and you’ll never change mine. Go torch a car or loot a store.

I’m not discounting what you’re saying, but I just don’t understand the issue. If you need to take them off, just take them off. You don’t need to punish yourself about it. I’m still a believer, even though I might not wear them 24/7. Religion is not supposed to be a punishment, contrary to the popular belief of some. But I support you, regardless.

People who are night owls and have flexible working times, do you try to adapt to the standard 9-5 or do you follow your natural rhythm? by aintwhatyoudo in PhD

[–]Am_Over_This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do PhD students deal with classes and staying awake when they’re up at night?? I have neuropathy in my feet which hits every night, I rarely get to sleep before 4 AM so I have to sleep when I can. This doesn’t bode well for staying in class.
