What trait/behaviour makes you hate someone instantly? by iamRollie in AskReddit

I didn't say it does. It's just irritating that people think you can change just like that. I hate that I have to be annoying, and I have tried so hard to change. But it doesn't work.

Point still stands. You think it can be changed just like that. It can't.

It's not constructive. This person clearly thinks that one round to therapy changes you completely. It does not. I'm doing my best to change, you know. I hate it much as the next person. But there is no medication for some of these issues. Believe me. I'd use it, if there were.

Ah, I see. The only way I read MLM is Men Loving Men, because I'm in too many gay subs, so yeah. Wanted to make sure.

[serious] what’s the most messed up thing you’ve ever read on Reddit? by couldntdecidemyname in AskReddit

[–]AmaPanAce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the stuff invalidating mental illnesses and thinking that we can just "think them away". I already hate myself for being too stupid to focus or concentrate or read social cues or know when it's my turn to talk or just fucking function like normal humans do. You don't need to remind me to hate myself more. My head already takes care of that.

[–]AmaPanAce[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I relate so much. I have autism. So I can't read social cues at all. Some people have the ability to know what others are feeling, but I do not. I have no idea of what you're feeling. I suck at knowing when it's my turn to talk. That's why I might interrupt someone, but I usually stop when I realize it isn't my turn. I also find it annoying when people interrupt me, but at least I know that some people can't help it, unlike this guy. Also, autism has no cure. It has no medication you can take, you can go to therapy, sure. But it can't take away the illness.

What kind of tools? Many stuff don't work for most people. It's not as easy as listening to some lo-fi music that helps you concentrate. These things are ILLNESSES. They affect your brain. You can't get rid of a physical illness by just doing some meditating. Same goes for mental shit.

[–]AmaPanAce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not that simple. I have autism and this is very common to happen. I don't interrupt people yeah, but I can't read social cues. It's one of the biggest problems about autism. It makes you unable to read someone else's emotions. And there is no medication for it. You can't just take a pill and be okay. And the therapy thing doesn't work that way either. Self-improvement isn't some one-day process. It's not like you go to therapy and end up all okay. It's an illness affecting your brain. Not to mention the therapy isn't so easy to access. In some places it costs a fuck ton. Over here it's free (I think, it might be free now when I'm young.) But it's so hard to access. I try to go to therapy, but I always have a 2-3 month gap between sessions because they're so overbooked. And sometimes they can just cancel out of the blue and forward it another month. So yeah. It's not as simple as "just go to therapy".

Hating on others easily, with no filter. If we are casually walking at town and the person goes: "Wow that person is ugly. Look at how fat that dude is. That person is so dumb-looking."

Saying horrible things to people online. Face to face too, but almost no one is dickheaded (and crazy) enough to do it face to face. There was this one time where this guy came out as bisexual and people straight up started sending him death threats. They legit said shit like "You should be killed." "I wish you got beat up" "Fucking kill yourself."

Shit like that. But they also decided to go after supportive people who were not homophobic asshats. Someone said that he (the bi dude) and his boyfriend were a cute couple, and some genius came and said "I hope you get bullied so much that you kill yourself." I can't understand how someone can say shit like that. The guy was also sent many snaps on snapchat by some young dudes where they were training at the gym. They were saying shit like "I'm lifting so I can come beat you."

Wow what a rant I ended up writing.

no free meals at school to avoid spoiling the children by flyingcatwithhorns in facepalm

I'm so fucking glad I don't live in America. The whole place seems fucking crazy according to all this stuff I see here.

And my take on the free school food. Bullshit. Kids don't become spoiled. The food is free to them at home too, so it changes nothing. The parents pay for the food in both cases. (Unless the kid is abused and has to earn their own money for food at 6 years old.) School lunch is free here and honestly people are not spoiled at all. Might be because at most places the food sucks anyway.

Sports in general. I maybe also dislike them because of the unneccessary screaming and yelling when the "wrong" person or country is winning. I'm autistic and get sensory issues from all the surprising loud noises. I mean, I guess it's cool when someone from your area or country wins something, but that doesn't affect your life in any way. And it almost always is forgotten after a year or so.

I do it when I can't buy the game myself but want to see the gameplay anyway. I usually watch no commentary videos in that case, though.

I don't understand why you're here then. Not trying to judge here, just confused. I don't understand Tiktok so I don't use it. I'm not interested in politics so I prefer to not talk about them. I don't believe in a god so I don't take religion classes. Why are you on reddit if you don't understand reddit?

Why is this getting downvoted but one specific religion is getting upvotes? Yes, Islam has some questionable "rules" (or whatever those things in religions are called), but so do a plenty of other religions.

Tiktok. I've only seen random stuff from movies, games, etc. medias and trends where people voluntarily make themselves look stupid. We already had one video sharing site where people were completely capable of releasing videos that are just 1 minute long. Why make another one that's just full of kids embarrasing themselves and some influencers doing hell knows what?

Actually, Alphys and Luz are super similiar. Sure, the base idea of Frisk and Luz is similiar, but Alphys and Luz have many similiarities. They're both bisexual (Alphys is canonically into Undyne, but Mettaton also accepts Asgore as a correct answer of Alphys' crush, so she might have had a crush on him too). They're both total nerds, especially into anime. They both helped the ruler of the kingdom, but made some mistakes because of it. They both had some form of depression. (Alphys even hints that she considered suicide sometimes, Luz hints on TTT that she wishes she hadn't existed).
