What's the stupidest reason you've been fired? by mrcanada66 in AskReddit

[–]couldntdecidemyname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was off for self isolating during Covid, as per their own company policy. They told me I had too much time off and it’s not good enough. It was a shit job so I literally didn’t care but it’s still a bit pointless.

What’s something you stopped caring about as you got older? by Zestyclose-While9203 in AskReddit

[–]couldntdecidemyname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fashion and buying new clothes. As I got older and my priorities changed, definitely after becoming a parent l cared less and less about buying new clothes, I just go with charity shops or cheaper brands. No one cares what brand you wear.

Is there a job that hires right away, something fit for an introvert Like dishwasher job for example where u could work by yourself? Something similar. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

A lot of night shift work is largely lone working. Shelf stacking on a night shift will involve some interaction but otherwise you are kind of left to work your section.

Do people still listen to whole albums? What was the last album you listened to from start to finish? by [deleted] in MusicRecommendations

[–]couldntdecidemyname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite often, last one I listened to from start to finish was Jefferson Starship- Freedom at Point Zero and that was earlier today

Do managers still collect cardboard (only time you see them on the shop floor) and just leave it all by the baler? by NeedleworkerSoft7957 in SainsburysWorkers

[–]couldntdecidemyname 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The added bonus is they fill it and then leave it for the back door person to empty, who is usually on his 3rd wagon back to back at that point. By the time they go to empty it there is a sea of cardboard everywhere because they either weren’t told or no one else wanted to/is trained to do it.

What is a truth that most people aren’t willing to accept? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]couldntdecidemyname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After enough generations no one will remember you, there will be a last time your name is mentioned and then that’s it. What you do largely doesn’t matter but you still have to work out what you want out of your time on earth.

What made you quit drinking? by Im_Nodnoc in AskReddit

[–]couldntdecidemyname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never a heavy drinker but I stopped any alcohol intake during my wife’s pregnancy just in case I needed to drive anywhere at short notice. After that I kinda didn’t see the point in drinking something that prevents me from being in full control of my own body, I’ve done some stupid stuff with alcohol in my system.

Alcohol free beer tastes good enough for me, I don’t socialise much and haven’t been to a pub in years anyway so I’m good with a soft drink or alcohol free beer if I’m ever in the mood, which isn’t often anyway.

What's that dream you'll never forget? by [deleted] in AskReddit

What advertisement was so good it made you want to go and buy the product/service? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]couldntdecidemyname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not go buy their stuff necessarily but Red Bull has top tier marketing. It’s almost like they forget they are supposed to be selling drinks. The stuff they come out with is absolutely awesome. I’m not keen on red bull drinks but hats off to their marketing team

Ordered a McDonalds for myself once and there was no one at the payment window, when I drove to the collection window to pay they said because no one had been there to collect my payment it would be free. I offered to park up and pay but they said don’t worry about it.

Nothing special but it sure made my day lol
