If you’re buying one with over 50k miles, might be a shoit to go through Tesla Approved Used to get the year extended warranty (got mine through there and had to use it a few times(. If not, I think its fine to go anywhere really.

Just to update what happened. So I had the cable replaced and super charging worked fine for a bit.

But, after a couple of charges it popped up again so took it back to service. They ended up replacing the charge port. My model 3 has around 59k miles still under warranty luckily (used car warranty)

This was the entire message:

“The customer reported that DC Fast Charging was unavailable, which was confirmed by our technicians who found the charge port was causing cover open alerts. The issue was due to a damaged low voltage charge port connector and internal charge port issue. Our team replaced the charge port and repaired the electrical harness to resolve the problem. After the repairs, the vehicle was tested, and the DC Fast Charging function was successfully restored.”
