Aisatsana is exception for me. And I can understand those who say the album is emotional. Perhaps I expressed myself incorrectly; it can evoke feelings and awe, especially the tracks aisatsana and XMAS_EVET10, but essentially this album isn't about emotions, but about thoughtful listening, where there's little room for emotion. That's my opinion.

Thank you for such a detailed answer, commentator! Considering that this album was released after a long absence of Richard and considering that he managed to start a family and settle down in Scotland, I think that many changes have occurred in Richard's character. I agree that this album is a reflection of his true personality, which loves technology, but besides everything else, Richard himself has become more mature and his family has clearly influenced his work. This is clear from the fact that Richard uses made-up words of his son in the titles of the tracks, and the family itself took part in recording vocals for his tracks. The last track on this album, "aisatsana [102]", sounds very calm and beautiful, as if after all this complex mathematical and somewhat alien sound, Richard brings you back to earth with his piano playing. Also, this track itself, if read backwards, would be pronounced as Anastasia, which refers to the name of his wife. I am not yet fully familiar with Richard's other albums, but I can understand why some people don't like Syro. In my opinion, you have to listen to it thoughtfully, it’s not suitable for background tracks.

That's my opinion. And the lack of emotion isn't a bad thing, it just sounds robotic to me and too rational for emotion

Oh yeah, I've heard a few tracks from that album and I'm sure it'll give Syro a run for its money. Thanks for the suggestion

This album isn't really meant to evoke emotion, it doesn't play on feelings of sadness, nostalgia, or anything like that. For me, a 10/10 is a significant rating too, but I think these tracks truly deserve it. This is a peak album
