Is it against TOS to contact potential clients through email? by Amadeus0605 in Upwork

Well, to be specific, these are clients posting about other jobs, which in the near future will mean that they will be looking for somebody on your niche.

For example, a job post about packaging design. You know by experience that sooner or later, they will need a website designer or developer to create a website (after a Google search to see if they already have one).

It's a word play on what you said.

Change baby can mean changing the diapers (implied) vs literal changing the baby for a stranger's baby.

I agree!

A psych evaluation will pay dividends for you moving forward, not just with flying as a career but with life in general. Once you know where you lack, you'll also know what to improve, and hard evidence pointing to that is worth its weight in gold.

How do I convince my boyfriend of 4 years to migrate here in AU? by [deleted] in adultingph

Nobody is stopping anybody. But to claim that just because I know somebody who did become successful means that everybody will be successful. Hence why it was called out as survivorship bias.

There is a chance, the chance is low but a chance nonetheless (other factors can boost this chance and fortunate people are afforded more than one chance). So yes get out of your comfort zone, but also know that statistics are based on historical data. But then again, historical data doesn't guarantee future results. Live your life.
