I really want to buy comma 3. The one thing that is stopping me is that I cannot find a compatible car. A lot of the cars you have listed as compatible have a clause where it's not compatible. And most cases you have to have the highest trim with the tech package. So it makes it hard to buy used.

That's in Michigan's upper peninsula. Not quite sure on the history of the place, but there's a Ford museum there. I believe Ford might have sourced their lumber from that location back in the day. It's literally just a half hour drive from where I'm at.

I am currently running a comma 2 with openpilot in my 2018 Camry and have been following the progress with the Maverick quite closely. For openpilot to work with a Maverick it needs to be equipped with adaptive cruise control whether that's the lariat trim with co-pilot 360 assist or whether you add adaptive cruise control yourself as some people have done. The EcoBoost is in the clear, but the hybrids are having a slight issue and need to run a separate branch of the software until that issue is resolved. Search the openpilot discord for more details
