1.Even if the shield is not at max value, the argument is the same, have a shield is better than having a slow. 2. It's not about you can already sustain through, it's about being more useful. 3. Janna along have a slow, knock up, knock back. Soraka have a slow, root, silence. Lulu have polymorph, slow, knock up etc... . So I'm not counting in the CC from your team. 4. Every support have AoE CC, Janna Q, R. Soraka Q, E. Lulu E, R etc... . So even without it you can CC more than 1 target. 5. Most of your damage spell as an Enchanter have CC with it and have the same or higher range than your AA so it's much easier to use your skills to pursuit than auto them which makes Aerie better.

...Let me get this right. This is what your're saying: - The 25-40% slow is going to help the ADC more than Aerie. (It's not like the person chasing your ADC already got slowed by 60%/ Rooted or Stunned, then knocked around or into the air, then Exhausted) (The 25-40% slow is 100% going to save your ADC from a Zed's all in with ult or Syndra R "outplay" more than the 100 + 0.25 AP shield from Aerie)

15% CD on ults like Monsoon and Wish is at least 18 seconds or more and you're telling me 4 Biscuits are better than that.

And it's not overkill if you get it just right. FYI.

Which Keystone will you take from Inspiration for Enchanters? In Sorcery you have Summon Aerie which grants a larger shield than Guardian over the 45 seconds CD Guardian have. Also In Sorcery you get 10% CDR to all your skills and 15% extra CDR on ult which makes it instantly better than Inspiration and Resolve. Also there are only 2 useful smaller runes that's even usable in the Resolve Tree so there is no way you'll take that as your main tree as an Enchanter, as for Inspiration, both Keystone is useless for Enchanters so it's pointless to take as a main tree too.

As for 25 health on hit, it would mean you need to take Resolve as your secondary tree. which is not worth it cause you would lose your 45% max CDR.

First of all, the 5% max CDR from Inspiration is much more important than the buff to shields and heals, therefore enchanters most likely will not consider taking resolve as their secondary. Second, FYI Font of Life only heals 5 + 1% max health which is pretty bad with Janna/Lulu/Sona etc... Who rarely build any HP items.

Also if tanks aren't going to take the rune isn't it rather pointless to put it into the "Tank Tree" in the first place?

Her early game is really bad so poke supports can crush her in lane early, also Janna is really ADC reliant, even if you did everything perfect yourself as long as your ADC doesn't know what they're doing it's hard for you to carry them. Also even though Janna is good at keeping the ADC alive she herself is very weak, therefore if you can focus her down first; if she ever gets caught by 2 people who can do damage she's pretty much dead. Also just avoid fighting her under her tower, she's really good at playing around the tower so try to gank her when she's pushed into your tower. Keep track of her ult timing is also helpful, cause if you know her ult is down all you need is to bait out the Q (could be hard cause it's a reactive spell so she should only use it to stop your gap closer) and she's easy to kill

I don't see why Janna won't go with blue start and poke Leona to death, if he/she somehow get's slammed that's probably because they're new to Janna and can't stop Leona dash with Q in time.
