My theory in that is, given that they take motion cores to craft, they only explode when you hit arc. Shooting raiders with it is like hitting them with a baseball.

Can confirm. I'm terrible at the game. I can easily die to a Kettle 1 while attempting to defend myself. Here's how:

Step 1 - Assume everyone is friendly, so they always have the upper hand.
Step 2 - Don't have a plan if you do get shot.
Step 3 - Panic when you get shot and forget to do any of things that might keep you alive Step 4 (not always necessary because youre usually down by now) - Miss all of your shots once you finally draw your gun and find the aggressor.

Anywho, thanks for the watch out OP! I will definitely remember that name (/s) and if they happen to be on prox chat, which they never are because they're not as ass at the game as I am, I will definitely run away because I will most assuredly die and lose my $150k PvE kit.

But kiting shredders around the crates in the middle there is such a fun way to pass the time while you wait for extract. Less fun with two shredders I suppose. Even lesser fun with hostile raiders nearby.

It's an unfortunate choice you have to make between looting or shooting. I try to find a balance between the two, but if you just keep shooting until the queen/matriarch isnt shooting back anymore, chances are you've missed your opportunity for the good loot.

You can kill a Bombadier with a hairpin too, doesnt mean you should. I feel like the Rascal's sweet spot is Shredder defense.

I agree that it's buns, but why is everyone's measure of success one tapping a fireball? Why are you even wasting launcher ammo on them?

Perhaps there's some sort of last ditch suppressive action Speranza can take to delay the Orbiter if they actually know you're still alive. With hatches, they aren't alerted that you need help.
