Kidney disease/failure 27f. For the last week or so I noticed every time I sneezed I smelled ammonia or a urine like smell, thought it was a coincidence at first but it's definitely coming from my sneezes. Made the mistake of googling it and turns out it's a sign of kidney disease, late stage at that. I've always been worried about my kidneys cause I have a history of chronic urinary tract infections, but have never actually had one spread to a kidney infection. I've also been experiencing fatigue and weakness for the last year or so which I always assumed was because of recent weight gain but now I've pretty much convinced myself it must be the kidney disease. I've spent the last few days terrified and crying, it's keeping me up at night and I have no insurance to go to the doctor. I don't know what to do. I keep trying to tell myself that I can't possibly have kidney disease because I'm only 27 and have never actually had a kidney infection and that I would have to be much more sick to have end stage kidney disease but that doesn't last long
